My village

My village is situated in Pelmadulla in the Sabaragamuwa province. Its name is Batalanda. It is a charming and lovely village. It has a small area. My village is located near the Adams'pake. There are many mountain hills around our village. Some of them are Kuttapitiya, Kiribathgala, Sri Paadaya, Hettikanda, Handurukanda and etc.

There are about 100 houses in my village. About 500 people live here. The people live in my village happily and peacefully. There are two high schools in my village. The students are studying diligently. There are many beautiful rainfalls near my village. My village has wonderful biodiversity. The people of my village live in harmony and peacefully. I love my village.

On the last duruthu full moon day, our father took us to Kandy.🥳 I had never gone there... So, I was delighted.🙈 It was a dream for me. My favorite singer is Arijit Singh. Arijit Singh is an Indian singer, musician, and music composer.  He is a clever and indispensable playback singer in the Indian film industry. He is the number 1 singer in India now.😍 He was born in 25th of April 1987. He is active since 2005. He is 35 years now. He has two children. Arjit Singh comes from a musical family background as his grandmother, mother, and sister.
